Things have been going well this month. On track to break $200 in commissions, and things could not be happier. My bounce rate is staying around 50-60%. Each day this week, I was beating the previous weeks visits by 20% or more. All signs were looking up.
Then disaster struck. I noticed for the past 2 days, my traffic is falling. hmm. Not sure if it is the new google algorithm, but things started slipping. On one keyword I went from 7/8 position to 20. On another I went from 7 to 15. Basically, on every keyword I was getting traffic on, I fell off of page one google. Not sure why.
I started implementing some marketing strategies last night and today. Hopefully these will help bring me back, but how quickly. I am considering actually paying for some targeted traffic if this does not turn around by next week.
For the past 1.5 weeks, I was seeing 15-20 organic visits a day by this time of the day. Today I am down to only 3. All in all, this is good. It is forcing me to learn even more methods to build my business. I was starting to think this was simple, and had stopped learning because what I had was working. Now I need to add some more tools to my toolbox.
Anyone have any suggestions? If you would like to see the site in reference, Bread Maker Reviews is the site. I was ranking first page on 4 different buying keywords, now all page 2. I will overcome this, just going to take some time. The one thing I hate about SEO is that the results are not immediate. I have been busting my hump since last night, and probably will not see fruit for a week or more. Oh well, at that point I will be back stronger than ever.
I will keep you posted. I need to get back on top. A taste of success has made me a rabid beast.
