I don’t know if you were spanked as a child, but I was. Let me tell you, I hated it. However, within 30 minutes or so, life was fine again. My butt stopped hurting and life went on. Well a google spanking is much worse.
I am in day 2 of my google spanking. By a google spanking I mean, I dropped from top of page one to as far back as page 40 for most of my keywords for my breadmaker site. I can guess that 1 maybe 2 factors came into play on this.
1. I ordered my link building service. These happened to get completed the same week. So now I had another 200+ backlinks added in the same week as the article ones.
2. I also added a auto content adder. It slowed down my site load time a bit, so that may be a factor.
I think number 2is the least likely cause. I am not sure how I will recover. Hopefully it will come back on its own. We shall see.
