April saw my biggest month ever for adsense.  Previous years, I was focused solely on Amazon, so I cannot say that I would have not seen bigger returns when I was living large in greater traffic days, but this is still a great direction to go.  I have five times the income from adsense from one year ago, so that is a huge difference.  With greater optimization of the plugins, I think I can increase this more without anymore investment in domains.  However, time is a very precious commodity right now.

Amazon saw a slight uptick from the previous month.  If you remember, last April was where I got stupid and brought down the wrath of google against me.  That was mid April with one site.  My total income from last year with that site was just over $265/month.  After that I gave up and did nothing for six months.

Now I am back up to just over $245 and my efforts have not increased that much.  Blue skies may be here again.

Adsense- $51.85

Amazon- $193.24

p.s. May is shaping up to be another record adsense month, but Amazon is struggling quite a bit.

This month saw a slight rise in my adsense income.  I feared I would see a dramatic drop due to googles big algorithm changes.  A large portion of my sites are auto blogs which is one of the big ‘issues’ google was looking to address with this update.

Somehow I survived and grew.  Still not great, but anything forward is not backwards.  Speaking of backwards, due to one return, my amazon sales dropped a hair.  The net reality is between both adsense and amazon, my income was stable.

Adsense- $41.39

Amazon- $188.26

I am starting to see some niche diversification from building all my sites, my amazon income is no longer dependent on one niche.  I am happy to see this.  Hopefully, this trend will continue and grow.
